(Updated 4/2/16)

Our newest Spring issue is here containing poetry guest edited by Cynthia Schwartzberg Edlow as well as great translations, nonfiction, fiction, and reviews! There is a new feature too – Spotlight on a Press compiled by the talented Nettie Ferris! Remember to let us know what you think on Facebook and on Twitter @BlueLyraReview. We’re using the unique hashtag #BlueLyra.

We are open for submissions for book reviews, poetry (guest edited by Karen George), anthology call (see below), and Poetry Manuscript Critiques, as well as essays and translations.

Fiction will open again in Fall.

And finally, we’ve released two awesome chapbook books in the Spring with Anna Leahy, Karen George, Robert Perry, Joy Ladin, Jennifer Litt and Tasha Cotter as part of the Delphi Poetry series. We are looking for more manuscripts, if interested, for poetry and for flash fiction.

Call for work:

(1) Blue Lyra Press is looking for poems & flash fiction & essays for a new anthology called The Play is The Thing: Poems & Prose about the Theater. We are looking for anything about the theater, or a particular theater, behind the scenes, famous plays or actors/actresses, or really anything that is unique and related to the stage/theater. This is open until Dec 01 2016 and hopefully will be released in early 2017. We will consider previously published poems so long as acknowledged where previously published. Send through Submittable (link found here).

We also have t-shirts available and you can purchase the first, second, and third print issues. The fourth print issue with all new work will be available in Spring 2017 in time for AWP in DC!
